Our History

About Reva FoodsDennis’ love of cooking goes back many years.  He was always experimenting with different flavors and recipes to the delight of his ever-hungry family and friends.  It was when his wife Kathy planted a key lime tree that he quickly needed to create a use for so much key lime juice.  His love of grilling and barbecuing led to the creation of Dennis’ Key Lime BBQ sauce.

He created the sauce for family and friends who anxiously waited to receive the sauce as gifts.  He’s even heard stories of some people actually drinking the sauce.  While we prefer ingesting it in a more conventional manner, we are certainly happy to hear people enjoy it that much.  After hearing time and again that Dennis should sell the sauce, he and Kathy decided to create a company that could provide the sauce to many.  In December 2009, Reva Foods, LLC was formed.

Kathy is the President of Reva Foods and is the brains behind the business and our sales & marketing efforts.  She also coordinates our in-store demos, as well as our attendance at all of the trade shows and other venues.

Dennis leads Product Development and is the creative force behind our line of products.  He can usually be found in the kitchen experimenting with new sauces and rubs, working to get that special flavor that people have come to enjoy.

The sauces are great for dipping, grilling, roasting, baking, marinating, or in the crock pot.  They’ll add wonderful flavor to chicken, beef, pork, veggies, or seafood.  Use the Key Lime Sauce as a cocktail sauce for your shrimp, put it in a Bloody Mary.  The Sweemotle Sauce makes a great seasoning for chili.  The Mango Habanero and Pineapple Sauces are great on seafood or even as a wing sauce. The Cherry Habanero sauce combined with a brownie mix makes a dynamite spicy brownie.

The salsas are great on top of cream cheese as an appetizer or served on top of chicken, pork, or seafood.  They’re also great by themselves in a bowl with chips and the requisite margarita!  There’s a flavor that’s sure to please every palate.

Ketchup is a universal condiment and our spicy ketchups are not only top award winners, they’re great on hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, or meatloaf.  And like all of our other products, they’re free from high fructose corn syrup and are low in sodium.  Best of all, they taste phenomenal!

Our rubs and seasonings bring a unique flavor as well.  The Sweet Smokin’ & Grillin’ Rub is a great addition to any meat you’d put in a smoker or in the oven.  The Citrus Fire Seasoning is an excellent little citrus kick on beef, chicken, pork, or even sprinkled on popcorn!
