Black Bean and Corn Hummus

Hummus with Black Bean & Corn Salsa

3 Garlic cloves

2 Cans chickpeas, drained, liquid reserved

1 1/2 tsp Kosher salt

1/3 cup Tahini

1/4 cup Fresh lemon juice

1/4 cup Juice reserved from the beans

2 tbsp Olive Oil

1 cup Dennis' Black Bean & Corn Salsa


1Remove the skins from the chick peas (tedious but important for smooth hummus).

2Turn on the food processor fitted with the steel blade and push the garlic down the feed tube.

3Process the garlic until it's minced.

4Add the remaining six ingredients to the food processor and process until smooth. Add more chickpea liquid as necessary to have a smooth hummus.

5Taste for seasoning.

6Put hummus in a serving dish, and top with Dennis’ Black Bean & Corn Salsa.

7Serve chilled or at room temperature with your favorite chips or veggies.
